Quarterfinals Set for Courts Optical Boys Pee Wee U11 Football Tournament

The 11th edition of the Courts Optical Boys Pee Wee U11 Football Tournament is heating up as eight teams have secured their spots in the quarterfinals after an exciting round of knockout action at the Ministry of Education ground.

In a thrilling clash, West Ruimveldt Primary triumphed over Tapakuma Lake 2-1 in penalty kicks after their match ended 3-3 in regulation time.

Seon Horsham led the charge for West Ruimveldt with a hat-trick, while Tapakuma’s Alexio Jacobis scored twice, and Rapheal Fredrick netted the other goal.

Rosignol Primary showed their strength with a commanding 4-0 win over Georgetown International Academy.

Jeremiah McDonald starred with two goals, while Timothy Rouse and Abdul Kadir added one each.

Belladrum Primary also demonstrated dominance in their 3-1 victory over Batavia Primary, with Jadon Sampson netting a hat-trick in the 4th, 24th, and 39th minutes.

Batavia’s sole goal came from Randy Lyte.

St. John the Baptist defeated North Georgetown Primary 2-0, with goals from Kriston Chandler and Kareme Welcome.

Marian Academy triumphed 2-1 over Winfer Gardens Primary, with Chase Hodge and Cristiano La Rose on the score sheet.

Defending champions St. Pius Primary continued their strong performance with a 2-0 win over School of Nation, courtesy of goals from Emanuel Forte and Aleem Younge.

Enterprise Primary came from behind to defeat Stella Marris 2-1, thanks to goals from Dontay Kowlessar and Shine Arthur.

Santa Rosa Primary rounded out the victories with a 2-0 win over St. Gabriel’s Primary, with Taz La Rose and Deon Henry scoring for the team.

The quarterfinals will be held this Saturday at the CARFESTA Avenue ground, starting at noon.
