Public Procurement Commission Submits 2022-2023 Annual Report to National Assembly

The Public Procurement Commission (PPC) delivered its annual report for the period spanning 2022 to 2023 to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Manzoor Nadir.

Pauline Chase, Chairperson of the PPC, presented the report, detailing the commission’s duties which encompass oversight, investigation, training, and legislative enhancements.

Chase acknowledged the initial challenges faced but expressed satisfaction with the commission’s achievements across all operational areas during its first year.

Speaker Manzoor Nadir commended the PPC for its diligent efforts in preparing and submitting the report.

He stressed the importance of transparency and accountability in public procurement processes in Guyana, highlighting the role of the report in facilitating these goals.
