Prime Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, brought festive joy to several communities today through a large-scale toy distribution exercise.

Over 1,200 toys were handed out to children in areas including Rasville, West Ruimveldt, Festival City, Beterverwagting, and Dazzel Housing Scheme.

In addition to gifts for the children, hundreds of adults also received hampers as part of the initiative.

The Prime Minister engaged with residents, extending Christmas greetings and emphasizing the significance of this annual tradition.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuing the initiative in the years ahead.

The toy distribution forms part of a wider effort by cabinet members to spread Christmas cheer nationwide.

Similar distributions have taken place across the country, including in Region Nine, while several communities—such as Mabaruma, Rose Hall, and New Amsterdam—have hosted Christmas tree light-up events to celebrate the season.
