Prime Minister Mark Phillips visited the National Communication Network (NCN) this morning, where he engaged with staff and took part in discussions regarding the organization’s achievements and future plans.
During the visit, the Prime Minister met with senior staff to review NCN’s accomplishments over the past year and to hear about the projects and initiatives planned for 2025.
He emphasized the critical role NCN plays in disseminating information and highlighted its importance in public communications for the government.
Phillips expressed his appreciation for the work done by the NCN team, acknowledging their essential role in promoting the government’s developmental programs across Guyana.
He reassured staff that the government would continue to support NCN, both in terms of budgetary allocations and personal development opportunities, including training programs.
He also assured them of continued financial and infrastructure support through his office and the Ministry of Public Telecommunications.
As part of his visit, the Prime Minister toured each department within the organization and inspected the upgrades to the communications network, recognizing the progress and improvements made to enhance NCN’s operations.
