President Irfaan Ali Hosts Christmas Breakfast for Over 200 Children

On Christmas morning, President Irfaan Ali, along with Prime Minister Mark Phillips and Minister Kwame McCoy, hosted a special breakfast at the One Guyana Kitchen on Main Street for more than 200 children from Tiger Bay, Kingston, and Alberttown.

The event aimed to spread Christmas joy by providing a delightful breakfast experience and distributing toys to the young participants.

Hon. Mark Phillips, the Prime Minister of Guyana, shared insights into the initiative, stating that the One Guyana Kitchen served as a venue for the distribution of toys and a breakfast for boys and girls in the area.

Approximately 200 to 250 toys were distributed during the event.

Prime Minister Phillips highlighted that the toy distribution effort continued in Sophia and other communities, emphasizing that over 20,000 toys were distributed to children nationwide as part of the Christmas spirit.

The President’s initiative to host a Christmas breakfast and distribute toys reflects a commitment to spreading joy and creating memorable experiences for the younger members of the community during the festive season.
