President Dr. Irfaan Ali Engages with Citizens During Stabroek Walkabout

On Wednesday evening, President Dr. Irfaan Ali conducted a walkabout in the Stabroek area, engaging with Guyanese from all walks of life.

Starting from Demico House, the Head of State greeted and interacted with commuters and vendors, addressing their concerns and discussing opportunities for growth.

Accompanied by Minister within the Public Works Ministry, Deodat Indar, and other government officials, President Ali emphasized the importance of capitalizing on opportunities in agriculture, business, and education.

He particularly encouraged young people to apply for the GOAL scholarship program.

During the walkabout, President Ali took the time to outline his government’s holistic approach to national development, focusing on improving the well-being and standard of living for all citizens.

He stressed the importance of a comprehensive strategy to ensure prosperity for everyone.

This visit is part of President Ali’s ongoing efforts to connect with communities across Guyana.

For the past several months, he has been actively visiting various regions, engaging with residents to understand their needs and aspirations.
