President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali and his delegation are currently in Saudi Arabia to attend the ninth (9th) Future Investment Initiative (FII) Summit, an event that is a prominent global platform which brings together world leaders, investors, and innovators to discuss economic opportunities and future trends.

First launched in 2017, the FII is funded by the Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-effectively the nation’s Sovereign Wealth Fund and investment arm for its oil wealth.

Just yesterday, President Ali had met with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
