President Irfaan Ali has encouraged Caribbean investors to leverage Guyana’s investment-friendly environment during the Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF).
At the event’s opening, President Ali emphasized that Guyana is not solely relying on oil and gas for its future but is actively modernizing and investing across both traditional and emerging sectors.
He highlighted that the country’s growth profile has shown substantial progress across all sectors over the past two years.
To maximize these benefits on a regional scale, President Ali urged the regional private sector to explore the various investment opportunities available in Guyana.
The President also pointed out that the government has streamlined the investment process through the Single Window platform, making it easier for investors to engage with the country.
The three-day forum, which commenced last evening, focuses on key areas including sustainable agriculture, green economy transitions, business digitalization, and sustainable development.
The event aims to facilitate significant investments in these crucial sectors.
