In celebration of the holiday season, President Dr. Irfaan Ali hosted the Annual Christmas Social at State House, welcoming children from various homes across Region Four.
The event aimed to spread festive cheer, with entertainment and gifts provided for the children, marking the President’s commitment to bringing joy to the young ones during Christmas.
The event highlighted the values of unity, love, and kindness, which President Ali emphasized as essential components of the Christmas spirit.
The President underscored that such initiatives are an integral part of the government’s Christmas agenda, reflecting the desire to foster togetherness and happiness within the community.
During the event, the President took a moment to remind the children about the importance of kindness, urging them to show care and respect for their elders, caregivers, and parents.
He also stressed the value of sharing love and supporting one another during the festive period.
In addition, Steven Singh, who is affectionately known as Santa Claus, was recognized for his ongoing efforts in spreading joy and happiness throughout the season.
