In Ogle, President Ali met with fisherfolk, listening attentively to their concerns.
Approximately 35 boats, representing fisherfolk from Montrose and Better Hope, utilize the channel at Ogle to bring their catch ashore.
During the interaction, President Ali offered solutions to address the challenges faced by the fisherfolk, including the dredging of channels and the installation of security lights.
At Mon Repos Market, the President engaged with vendors and consumers, discussing various issues affecting the local community.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and citizens to ensure the well-being and prosperity of all.
President Ali reiterated his administration’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people and creating an environment where businesses can thrive.
The walkabout concluded with President Ali having breakfast at the market, joined by Minister of Local Government Sonia Parag and Minister within the Ministry Anand Persaud.
