President Dr. Irfaan Ali has expressed strong confidence in his party’s chances of securing a victory in the upcoming 2025 general elections.
His optimism is rooted in the extensive support the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) has garnered from citizens, as well as the transformative changes underway across the country.
During the second episode of the program In the Seat, President Ali outlined his vision for a united and prosperous Guyana, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity, shared values, and national unity.
He remarked that Guyanese citizens are witnessing firsthand the opportunities and improvements that have resulted from the government’s efforts.
According to Dr. Ali, citizens have become increasingly critical and are recognizing the tangible changes being made in their communities.
The President also noted that the divisive tactics historically used by the opposition have lost their effectiveness, as more people align with the PPP/C due to its progressive policies.
Dr. Ali expressed that this growing support would translate into a substantial margin of victory in the 2025 elections.
In addition to discussing his confidence in the elections, President Ali highlighted key government initiatives aimed at empowering the youth.
These programs include near-shoring, oil and gas training, hospitality training, and block-making programs, all of which are designed to provide Guyanese with the skills needed to thrive in the evolving economy.
With his party’s commitment to development and unity, Dr. Ali is poised to lead the PPP/C into a promising future, marked by significant progress and a prosperous Guyana.
