President Ali Commits to Development in Baracara

Residents of Baracara expressed gratitude towards the government for various initiatives aimed at enhancing their quality of life, spanning health, education, infrastructure, and agriculture, among other vital sectors.

During a visit to the community, President Irfaan Ali received a warm welcome from the villagers, marking the culmination of a two-day outreach in Region Six.

The residents lauded the government for fulfilling promises, including canal clearing, providing pumps for farmers, supporting the cattle industry with bulls, hiring part-time workers, and facilitating training for a pharmacy assistant and medic to serve the community, among other endeavors.

They now anticipate further support to continue enhancing their well-being.

President Ali emphasized that these investments aim to reinvigorate productivity within the community.

As a testament to this commitment, the government will supply a tractor and plough to prepare 400 acres of land for cultivating blackeye and red beans.

Additionally, fisherfolks will benefit from a solar freezer for storing their catch.

Accompanying the President were Agriculture Minister Zulfikar Mustapha, Public Works Minister Juan Edghill, and other officials tasked with ensuring that the commitments made are effectively delivered to the people of Baracara.
