Preparations for Budget 2026 are ongoing, with the Government consulting various stakeholders on measures they recommend be included in the budget.
Among those stakeholders is the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA), which has recommendations of its own.
During an interview with the National Communications Network, GMSA President, Rafeek Khan, spoke of some of the measures the organization would like to see in the budget.
Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo has already indicated that an early budget will be presented next year.
This will be first budget to be presented to the 13th Parliament which will convene next week, at the Arthur Chung Conference Center, Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown.
