Pine Street Nursery School Displays Unity in National Colours during Awareness Session

In a powerful demonstration of unity and patriotism, Pine Street Nursery School, located in the Industrial Area, hosted an awareness session today where students and staff dressed in the national colors of the Golden Arrowhead.

During the Friday assembly, the school’s Headteacher, Fayeann Tappin, expressed the institution’s solidarity with the nation.

Tappin stated, “We are proud, and Essequibo belongs to us,” emphasizing the collective pride in Guyana’s rich heritage.

Students from Years 1 and 2 showcased their creativity by presenting compositions focused on Guyana and Essequibo.

The acrostics, crafted by the students, added an educational and artistic touch to the event.

In attendance was one parent, Winston Winclass, a Taxi Driver, who commended the teachers and fellow parents for their united front.

Winclass expressed, “I am saying that we are blessed in Guyana,” underscoring the significance of unity in fostering a strong national identity.

The event captured the essence of community spirit and national pride as Pine Street Nursery School stood together to emphasize the values and cultural richness that define Guyana.
