Over 200 Benefit from “Caring for Others” Back to School Footwear Distribution

The non-profit organization “Caring for Others” has continued its commitment to community support with a recent Back to School Footwear distribution event.

Held at the Coomacka Center ground, the initiative saw over 200 individuals receive new pairs of footwear in preparation for the upcoming school year.

The event aimed to ease the burden on parents and ensure that children are well-equipped for school.

Recipients expressed their gratitude and excitement about the new footwear, which they eagerly anticipate using for both school and everyday activities.

Jermaine Figueira, the local representative for “Caring for Others,” highlighted that this distribution is part of a broader series of initiatives across Region Ten.

The organization has previously conducted similar events, including a football boots distribution.

Figueira noted that the back-to-school initiative also plans to reach the Kwakwani and Ituni communities, with further expansion to other regions in the future.

Since its inception in 2016, “Caring for Others” has been dedicated to giving back to communities, and this event continues to reflect their ongoing efforts to support those in need.
