Optique Vision Care celebrating 10th Anniversary

Optique Vision Care, a leading name in eye care services, is commemorating a decade of dedicated service by embarking on an ambitious venture: the construction of a state-of-the-art eye hospital at 350 New Market Street, Georgetown.

CEO Dhani Narine expressed his enthusiasm for this significant milestone, emphasizing that the eye hospital represents a new era for the company, building on a foundation of providing specialized services not only to Guyana but also to the wider Caribbean region.

Narine underlined the hospital project’s alignment with the Government of Guyana’s overarching national development plan, which emphasizes the expansion of healthcare and the strategic foray into medical tourism.

This initiative is a monumental step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility for all, as well as positioning Guyana as a hub for specialized medical services. The Optique Vision Care hospital is poised to revolutionize eye care in the region.

In addition to this significant announcement, the anniversary event witnessed a heartwarming act of generosity. Optique distributed spectacles to various children’s homes, including United Women for Special Children.

The celebration also served as a platform to recognize and appreciate the dedicated staff members who have contributed significantly to the company’s success over the past decade.

With a track record of impactful outreach programs spanning regions 2, 6, and 10, Optique Vision Care has not only been a beacon of excellence in eye care but also a steadfast pillar of support within the community.

As the evening concluded, Ann Geer, Co-Founder of United Women for Special Children, extended warm congratulations to Optique’s Dhani and Madonna Narine, acknowledging the transformative impact of their endeavors.

The Optique Vision Care team looks ahead with anticipation and excitement, as they embark on this new chapter in their journey towards advancing eye care and medical services in Guyana and the wider Caribbean.
