OneShot International, a US-based company, will be participating in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Investment Conference for the second time this year. The company is encouraging other SMEs to join the conference, highlighting the potential for networking and collaboration across various industries.
Renato Archer, the CEO of OneShot International, stated that their team aims to identify Guyanese businesses with international expansion potential and explore ways to support their digital service offerings. Last year, the company participated in a similar event organized by the ‘We Win Business Network’ and recognized the significant potential in Guyana.
“Last year we were already here and it was a successful meeting that we had with together we win, we also partner with several companies and invested in one or two of them so we said that this year we really have to be here again and we are fully supporting this event because we see the potential that not only the organization has but also SME’s in Guyana, so we are bringing a lot of opportunities to help Small business grow,” the CEO said.
He also says that the company is prepared to teach entrepreneurs updated ways to boost their businesses.
“Oil and gas is one but on the other end, I also see that a lot of companies are looking to increase their capital and looking at this in a traditional way, only looking at visiting banks, talking to … and financial institutions where you also have a really big market of … and venture capital where they can actually get these grants from and that is what we are going to be bringing in.”
The company’s CEO says the opportunities for this conference are enormous and will serve many SMEs looking to expand and take their services to another level.
The Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Investment Conference will be hosted from July 14–16, 2023 and the highly anticipated event will take place at the Police Training Centre. It is expected to attract a gathering of over 250 participants hailing from more than seven diverse nations.
