One Communications has officially launched its 2024 Pinktober campaign, reiterating its dedication to increasing cancer awareness, promoting education, and raising vital funds for cancer treatment and prevention.

Since its start in 2017, Pinktober has emerged as one of the company’s most significant corporate social responsibility efforts, aimed at uniting the community in the battle against cancer.

The theme for this year’s campaign is “Many Hearts, One Fight,” which underscores the importance of unity within the One Communications group.

During the launch event, Ian Lewis, the Director of Brand and Buzz, discussed the initiative’s evolution and its profound impact across Guyana.

Over the years, One Communications has developed strong partnerships with the Ministry of Health and several non-governmental organizations, making a significant difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

Lewis emphasized the need for ongoing support from the public through donations, volunteering, and participation in Pinktober events.

He reiterated the company’s commitment to providing essential funds for cancer treatment and enhancing awareness throughout the nation.

The highlight of the Pinktober campaign is the “Move for a Cause” Pinktober Walk, set to take place on October 27.

One Communications is inviting individuals from all backgrounds to join the event and demonstrate their support in the ongoing fight against cancer.
