Slingerz Racing Stable’s Olympic Kremlin has proven its prowess once again by winning the President’s Cup race on Sunday at the Rising Sun Turf Club in West Coast Berbice, reinforcing its previous victory at the prestigious Guyana Cup.

Ridden by jockey Acedenir Gulart, Olympic Kremlin demonstrated impressive strength, coming from the back of the pack to claim the title in a time of one minute and 47 seconds for the one-mile race.

Initially, it was Easy Time and Stat that set the pace, exchanging the lead in the early furlongs.

However, Olympic Kremlin made a strategic move around the final turn, surging ahead to secure the victory.

Following Olympic Kremlin in the final standings were Nova Sol in second place and Easy Time in third, while Mapa Do Brasil, a debutant on the local racing scene, finished in fourth place.

The day featured several other thrilling races. In the Anirud Ramcharitar Construction Firm L Class Open, Money Time triumphed under jockey Quinton Kellman, beating out Princess Samiyah and Kiss for the win.

Brazilian import Companheiro Leal dominated the Peter Lewis Sprint Classic, finishing first in his debut race, while Ritorna Vincetori and Creemore claimed second and third, respectively.

In the Kabisa H Class Classic, Theory of Colors from Jagdeo Racing Stables showcased a powerful run, finishing ahead of American Traveler and Emotional Damage.

The two-year-old maidens’ race saw Storm Bird race to victory, followed by Miracle Star and Easy Bella.

Other notable winners included Lion Heart, who took the victory in the Kris Jagdeo Construction L Class, and Rachel, who dominated the J Class and Lower event.

The next racing event, the Kabisa Stakes, is scheduled for October 20 at the Bush Lot United Turf Club in West Coast Berbice.
