The Office of the Prime Minister officially launched its Mashramani 2025 celebrations on Friday, with Prime Minister Mark Phillips calling for high energy and full participation in the upcoming festivities.
As the excitement builds for the grand celebration on February 23, the Prime Minister highlighted the increasing public engagement at the weekly Friday Night Jump-Up events on Main Street.
He noted that while these gatherings continue to grow in attendance, the peak of the excitement will be on Republic Day, when Guyanese will take to the streets for the annual road march.
This year, the Office of the Prime Minister’s float will showcase key national themes, including energy, disaster preparedness, public communication, and digital transformation.
A central King Figure will symbolize Guyana’s natural resources as a driving force for national development, while the female costumes will reflect the country’s energy sector.
The Prime Minister also underscored his office’s commitment to maintaining its winning streak, having secured trophies in 2023 and 2024.
He encouraged all participants to bring their enthusiasm and fully support the band on Mash Day.
With the strong energy and national pride displayed at the launch, the Office of the Prime Minister is set to make a dynamic impact at Mashramani 2025, continuing its tradition of vibrant and unified celebration.
