The new school term begins today, and Education Minister Sonia Parag is urging students across the country to recommit themselves to their studies, especially those in Grade 6 and Grade 11.

Minister Parag reminded that learners preparing for the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations are entering a decisive phase, with mock exams and finals just weeks away.

At the same time, Minister Parag praised teachers for their role in shaping the nation’s future and urged them to approach the new term with renewed energy and commitment.
