October 17, 2024

A new international insurance company, Copassa Group, is now registered in Guyana and is working to fill a critical gap in the Caribbean market by offering medical insurance services that provide coverage for complex medical cases abroad.

Founded by Lida Guichard Henning, Copassa Group brings over 40 years of experience in health and life insurance across the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States.

Henning explained that the company aims to help individuals navigate medical crises in foreign territories, offering customized solutions that ensure clients receive the best possible care while dealing with complex medical systems.

Henning emphasized that Copassa’s services not only address immediate medical needs but also help families plan for future financial security, especially in the event of an unforeseen medical emergency.

Looking ahead, Henning is optimistic about Guyana’s potential as a medical tourism destination, further reinforcing the country’s growing healthcare infrastructure.
