Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony, recently commissioned a new health post in Muritaro, Region Ten.
The health facility, constructed at a cost of approximately $24 million, is set to benefit over 246 residents in the community and surrounding areas.
Dr. Gregory Harris, Regional Health Officer for Region 10, shared that the journey to this new facility started in an old wooden structure, and they are now proud of the progress made.
Dr. Frank Anthony highlighted that the new health post underscores the government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery across the country.
The facility is equipped with a laboratory, an antenatal and outpatient department, and a pharmacy.
Some of the services to be provided include chronic disease management, outpatient clinics, and antenatal care.
