The National Clean-up Exercise kicked off early in Linden, Region 10, with widespread participation from local organizations and residents.

The initiative, spearheaded by Regional Executive Officer Dwight John, saw a large turnout as communities actively engaged in efforts to enhance the town’s cleanliness.

John noted the enthusiasm of participants and highlighted that this marks the ninth national clean-up event.

Private companies such as Cevon’s Waste Management and BOSAI, alongside the “Men on Mission” team comprising members of the police, fire, and military services, contributed significantly to the efforts.

The Linden Mayor and Town Council, in collaboration with garbage disposal agencies, ensured that all waste collected was properly managed and disposed of following the clean-up.

Communities including Amelia’s Ward, Speightland, and West Watooka joined the initiative.

Residents and businesses are being encouraged to maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings to support the ongoing national efforts.
