Government has announced that in Region Three, additional automated speed cameras and radar speed signs are being activated across Region Three, , bringing the entire Region under the next phase of the Safe Road Intelligent System (SRIS).
Building on the launch of the automated speed-ticketing system earlier this year, the SRIS expansion introduces more radar speed signs and high-definition cameras at strategic points across in the region, including major intersections, high-traffic routes, and accident-prone areas.

The system, which uses high-definition cameras and a secure cloud platform, automatically detects speeding, issues tickets, and notifies drivers via SMS, email, or physical mail.
Motorists are urged to follow posted speed limits, heed the new radar signs, and drive cautiously, especially in busy or accident-prone areas.
The SRIS expansion is part of the government’s ongoing push for technology-driven road safety.
