Guyanese Shequana Holder, recently crowned Miss Caribbean Culture Queen, was celebrated with a grand welcome at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
The ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport, marked the beginning of her term as queen.
Holder, who hails from Essequibo, achieved this prestigious title on August 5, 2024, during the competition held in St. Kitts and Nevis.
This victory continues Guyana’s success in the pageant, following Shemina Peroune’s win in the previous year.
The event highlighted Holder’s commitment to advancing not only her personal goals but also contributing positively to her country.
The celebration included cultural displays and speeches, emphasizing the importance of her achievement for Guyana.
