Geared up with enthusiasm and unity, the Ministry of Housing and Water, in collaboration with the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), is poised to make a vibrant splash at this year’s Mashramani celebrations under the theme “Empowering Lives, Building Prosperity for a Stronger Guyana.”
With a record of past successes to defend, the CH&PA is preparing to showcase its excellence in the Full Costume (Medium Band Category) and Non-Commercial Float segments of the highly anticipated National Costume and Float Parade.
Hon. Susan Rodrigues, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, emphasized the importance of presenting a united front as they march down the streets on February 23.
She highlighted the values of unity, uniformity, and discipline that will characterize their participation, reflecting a collective family spirit.
Under the creative direction of Jermaine Broomes, the Mash Band will feature dynamic dances and vibrant displays, capturing the essence of Guyanese culture and the transformative impact of infrastructure initiatives on local communities.
As they take to the streets, the Ministry of Housing and Water and the CH&PA aim to not only showcase their creativity and unity but also to celebrate the tangible outcomes of their developmental efforts, reflecting the theme of empowerment and prosperity for all Guyanese citizens.
The Mashramani parade promises to be a spectacle of color, energy, and national pride, with the Ministry of Housing and Water and the CH&PA leading the charge in promoting unity and progress.
