Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, brought holiday cheer to the children of Linden last Friday as he distributed hundreds of toys at the Party’s office compound.
During a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Minister Edghill emphasized that Christmas is a time for sharing and giving.
He remarked that this holiday season is especially significant for the residents of Region Ten, who are witnessing unprecedented development, a reflection of the government’s commitment to equal opportunities for all.
Edghill further expressed that children, regardless of their background or location, should have access to the best education, just like their peers in wealthier areas.
The Minister also thanked the community for their continued support of the PPP/C, expressing his eagerness to serve with renewed enthusiasm in the year ahead.
Miss Guyana/World, Zalika Samuels, assisted the Minister in flipping the switch to light up the Christmas tree.
