The GGMC offers a suite of analytical services to the sector, promoting technology for increased efficiency, mineral recovery, and reduced environmental impact.

Waldron also emphasized the GGMC’s comprehensive work, including mining reports, geo-chemical projects covering over half of Guyana’s territory, and the development of Guyana’s geological map.

The conference, held in collaboration with the French National Research Institute on Sustainable Development and WWF Guianas, features presentations from local and international experts in the mining and environmental fields.
