Mexico-Guyana Chamber of Commerce Launched to Strengthen Economic Ties

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA – The Mexico-Guyana Chamber of Commerce was officially inaugurated during the opening of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2025.

The new entity aims to enhance economic collaboration and create expanded business opportunities between the two nations.

The establishment of the chamber marks a milestone in the 52-year diplomatic relationship between Mexico and Guyana.

Officials highlighted the chamber’s role in promoting trade, investment, and private-sector cooperation.

Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Office for Investment (GO-Invest), Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, emphasized the historical significance of the partnership, noting that it aligns with the shared values of both governments and is expected to generate substantial benefits.

Mexican Ambassador to Guyana, Mauricio Vizcaíno Crespo, described the launch as an important step in formalizing business connections between the two countries.

He noted that structured cooperation between the private sectors of Mexico and Guyana would facilitate growth and create new opportunities.

President of the Mexico-Guyana Chamber of Commerce, Ricardo Magania, highlighted Mexico’s commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment.

He described the chamber as a gateway to a new phase of economic collaboration, designed to foster cross-border business expansion.

The chamber will serve as a platform for businesses to explore and expand commercial activities, encouraging greater trade and investment flows between Mexico and Guyana.
