The vibrant community of One Mile in Linden celebrated its second Village Day on Sunday, bringing together families and residents for a day filled with entertainment and community spirit.
Organized by Men for One Mile, a non-profit organization, the event aimed to foster community unity and provide a day of fun for all ages.
Idi Clarke, the Coordinator of Men for One Mile, highlighted that the primary goal of Village Day is to strengthen community bonds and offer a variety of enjoyable activities for families.
The highlight of the celebration was a Gospel Concert featuring local artists, with Samuel Medas as the main attraction.
In addition to the musical performances, the event included family-friendly activities such as a bouncy castle for children and various water sports.
The successful turnout and positive atmosphere underscored the event’s role in bringing together the community of One Mile and providing a platform for local talent and family engagement.
