Medical Outreach Brings Vital Services to Rockstone

Pacific Leopard International Trading Incorporated organized its second medical outreach in Rockstone, Region 10, benefiting over 60 nursery and primary school children.

The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the 19th Chinese Medical Brigade and Metallica Guyana, provided a range of medical services including dental care, ophthalmology, paediatrics, internal medicine, gynaecology, and general surgery.

Aletha Joseph, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer for Pacific Leopard, highlighted the importance of Rockstone to the company’s logistics and expressed gratitude to the community, emphasizing the focus on preventative care and education during the outreach.

Rockstone’s toshao, Deino Williams, praised the effort, noting that it was a valuable initiative for the community, especially for the young learners who greatly benefitted from the medical attention and tokens provided by the visiting team.

The outreach underscores Pacific Leopard’s commitment to community engagement through its corporate social responsibility programs, enhancing access to essential health services in remote areas.
