Major Development Projects in River’s View

The Village of River’s View has experienced significant transformational projects under the People’s Progressive Party Civic Government, marking a notable progression for the community located on the border of Region 10.

Toshao Gregory Williams highlighted the advancements made and the positive impact on residents’ lives.

The community has benefited from various initiatives that have opened doors to greater opportunities and improved living conditions.

Among these developments, two major bridges were constructed, enhancing connectivity by linking the village to Goschen and Spring Garden.

To ensure a more reliable power supply to key facilities, including schools, the health post, the ICT hub, and the village office, a solar farm has been established.

This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and comfort within these vital community services.

In addition, two shade houses have been built to strengthen food security efforts in River’s View.

To assist parents during extracurricular activities, local women now produce garments in a sewing house that has been constructed, alleviating some financial burdens.

With funding received from the Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS), the Toshao plans to further develop the community by constructing a hardware store and a canteen facility at the community ground, alongside providing financial support to small farmers.

Furthermore, funds have been allocated for the construction of a sawmill, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year, further contributing to local development and economic opportunities in River’s View.
