By Nakasia Logan

MACORP, a leading machinery provider in Guyana, once again highlighted its commitment to the community during the recently concluded International Building Expo 2024.

The company not only showcased its latest innovations in construction equipment but also responded to the government’s call for increased customer engagement and information sharing.

A number of attendees were rewarded with consolation prizes, while one lucky winner walked away with a grand prize—a trip to the Caterpillar Factory in Brazil.

During the event, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues, expressed her gratitude to MACORP for its continued support over the years.

The Minister noted the company’s outstanding contributions and its role in strengthening the building industry in Guyana.

“I thank MACORP for their phenomenal support over the last few years of the Building Expo. This year, you’ve truly outdone yourselves with the promotions. We appreciate the corporate social responsibility that MACORP has demonstrated, and we are happy to support your efforts.” – Hon. Susan Rodrigues, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water.

Exhibitors, including those in the machinery sector, reported positive outcomes, citing increased sales and strong business activity.

The expo continues to serve as a dynamic platform for industry professionals to connect and collaborate.

MACORP’s engagement at the expo not only benefits their business interests but also contributes to the overall growth of the building sector.

The company looks forward to continuing its collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Water as the expo grows.
