The newly opened Ma Pau Gaming Lounge on Mandela Avenue has made a generous monetary donation to the Tyrrell family to help cover urgent medical expenses for a family member’s cataract surgery.
The donation is part of the gaming lounge’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, with the aim of supporting local families in need.
Ashana Validum, a representative of Ma Pau Gaming Lounge, emphasized that the donation aligns with their efforts to make a positive impact in the community.
In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, Tyrone Tyrrell, a family member, thanked the gaming lounge’s staff, supervisors, and management, especially Mr. Meusa and Mr. John Wallace, for making this contribution possible.
The family shared that the donation will enable them to cover the costs of the surgery, which is expected to fully restore the recipient’s vision and greatly improve their independence.
