Linden Mayor and Town Council Relocates Offices Amid Roofing Repairs

The Linden Mayor and Town Council (LMTC) has temporarily relocated its offices due to extensive roofing repairs at its current building on Republic Avenue.

According to Town Clerk Lennox Gasper, the decision was made to facilitate urgent repairs on the main building’s roof, which are expected to take two to three months to complete.

To continue serving the public during this period, the council has established a sub-office at the Child Development Centre building on Independence Avenue.

Departments such as Environmental and Personnel are currently operating from this location.

Additionally, other departments, including the Office of the Town Clerk, Finance, Rates and Taxes, have been relocated to the top flat of the Linden Enterprise Network (LEN) building.

The council is in the process of transferring its internet and phone lines to these new locations to ensure uninterrupted services.

Residents seeking council services are encouraged to visit the relocated offices until repairs are finalized.
