Linden Hospital Complex Pays Tribute to Nurse Zoella Lawrence

The Linden Hospital Complex (LHC) held a heartfelt event to remember and honor Nurse Zoella Lawrence, who tragically lost her life in a fire on Christmas Day.

Colleagues and staff gathered in the parking lot of the health facility to share fond memories, offer words of comfort to the family, and pay tribute to the dedicated health worker.

The event, attended by family and relatives of Nurse Zoella Lawrence-Bailey, provided a space for the hospital community to come together in reflection.

Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill also expressed condolences and assured the family of the government’s support during this difficult time.

Reflecting on the profound impact Nurse Lawrence had on the lives of those around her, colleagues shared sentiments of her selflessness and dedication.

Having served in the pediatric ward, she touched the hearts of many, and staff from that department were visibly moved, expressing their grief and memories of the caring nurse.

Nurse Zoella Lawrence-Bailey lost her life in an early morning fire at her home in Amelia’s ward.

The tragedy also claimed the lives of two of her nieces, 16-year-old Angelique Lawrence and 8-year-old Ronika Lawrence.

The event served as a collective effort to remember and celebrate the life of Nurse Zoella Lawrence, highlighting the deep sense of loss felt by the Linden Hospital Complex community.
