Linden Honors Veterans on Remembrance Day

Linden held a solemn Remembrance Day ceremony on Sunday morning to honor the servicemen who fought in World Wars I and II.

The event, which took place at the Cenotaph, featured a parade and the laying of wreaths adorned with poppies, symbolizing gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who served.

Regional Chairman Deron Adams addressed the gathering, reflecting on the significance of remembering the fallen heroes.

He emphasized the bravery and loyalty displayed by the veterans and the enduring impact of their sacrifices on securing freedom and justice for future generations.

The ceremony was attended by His Worship the Mayor of Linden, Sharma Solomon, along with councilors from the Regional Democratic Council and other stakeholders.
