Kevin Sinclair and the Guyana Harpy Eagles are gearing up to defend their regional championship title in the final two matches of the CWI Regional Four-Day Tournament in Jamaica.

After a convincing victory against the Leeward Islands, the team is once again setting their sights on clinching the title.

In an interview with NCN Sport before his departure to Jamaica, Sinclair, the outstanding all-rounder, shared his thoughts on the team’s strategy moving forward.

The 24-year-old emphasized the importance of taking one step at a time and focusing on bringing the team together under the guidance of Coach Hercules.

Sinclair highlighted the significance of winning crucial moments in the game and emphasized a step-by-step approach, focusing on each innings.

Looking ahead to the West Indies tour to England, Sinclair expressed his commitment to maintaining the same approach with both bat and ball.

He reiterated his focus on taking wickets and scoring runs to put the team in a better position for success in the upcoming matches.

Reflecting on his recent milestone, Sinclair shared the significance of his maiden first-class century, achieved on Republic Day.

He described the experience as special and expressed his pride in representing Guyana on such an occasion, emphasizing the importance of cherishing such moments.

The Guyana Harpy Eagles, defending champions of the tournament, are set to face the Jamaica Scorpions on April 10.

With their eyes firmly set on retaining the title, Sinclair and his teammates are prepared to give their best on the field and strive for another successful campaign.
