Kellogg’s GHB U-14 Indoor Dev League – Hikers and Saints emerge as winners

Ariel Adamas and Trinity Greaves showcased stellar performances on Friday during the Guyana Hockey Board’s Under 14 Indoor Developmental League at the Queen’s College auditorium.

Queen’s College, making their debut in the development championship sponsored by Kellogg’s, faced a tough challenge from the experienced Hiker’s Hockey Club Junior Jets.

Amya Norville opened the scoring, followed by a brace from Ariel Adamas, securing a 3-0 lead for the Junior Jets at halftime.

In the second half, Trinity Greaves of Hikers recorded a double, leading them to a dominant 7-0 victory.

Queen’s College also faced defeat, losing 3-0 to Old Fort Divas, with Tinashe Henry scoring twice and Keitanna Percival adding another goal.

In another match, Old Fort Diva suffered defeat against Saint’s Sensation, with goals from Kalyra Scott and Carenza Copeland securing a 2-0 win for Saints.

On the boys’ side, Hikers’ team named ‘Hatchets’ delivered an impressive performance with an 8-0 victory over Queen’s College.

Michal Payne and Shawn King both scored hat-tricks, leading to a commanding win.

Meanwhile, Saints Minions secured a flawless victory with a 6-0 win against Old Fort Dominators.

Fayed Mohamed scored four goals, with Ezekiel Moses and Jaron Isadore contributing one each.

The league will continue on March 15 at the Queen’s College Auditorium.
