Renowned Guyanese artist Jumo Primo, also known as “Rubber Waist,” is celebrating an illustrious 34-year journey in the music industry.

He sees his journey as a reflection of life itself, with its unexpected twists and turns.

Having claimed the title of national SOCA Monarch champion seven times, including one Road March victory, Jumo emphasizes the importance of self-reliance in achieving success.

He acknowledges that not everyone will understand or support one’s dreams, emphasizing the need to stay focused and determined despite obstacles.

To commemorate his milestone, Jumo is hosting a concert titled “Jumo and Friends” at the Malteenoes Sports Complex on February 10th.
