The Jumbo Jet Group of Companies has expanded its operations with the opening of a new Auto Spares and Service Centre located in Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara.

The new facility, which opened its doors on Sunday, marks a significant step in the company’s growth, as it continues to provide comprehensive product and service offerings to the Guyanese public.

Founded in 1994 by Nasrudeen Mohamed, Jumbo Jet has become one of the largest dealers in heavy-duty equipment and trucks in Guyana.

Over its 30 years of existence, the company has built a strong reputation for reliability and service excellence.

The newly opened centre is equipped with highly trained servicemen capable of handling complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, ensuring quick turnaround times.

It aims to meet the growing demand for quality auto spares and maintenance services across the country.

Melissa Chattergoon-Shariff, the Marketing Manager of Jumbo Jet, highlighted that the centre is the only supplier of such specialized services in the country, positioning it as a crucial asset for the transportation and logistics sectors.

Jumbo Jet’s expansion comes on the heels of the company’s recognition at the Sinotruk Global Partners Conference in Mexico, where it was awarded the prestigious Dealer of the Year award in 2024.

This accolade underscores the company’s commitment to excellence and its continued influence in the automotive industry.
