Job Readiness Workshop Empowers 25 Participants to Pursue Career Goals

Twenty-five individuals recently attended a one-day job readiness workshop organized by the Central Recruitment and Manpower Agency at the Eccles Skills Training Centre.

The participants included students who had recently completed their CSEC exams and other job seekers who were keen to enhance their employability skills.

The workshop received positive feedback from all attendees, who praised the initiative for providing valuable insights. They expressed enthusiasm about applying the knowledge gained during the workshop to their future career pursuits.

One participant identified as Tajana Singh said “I expected to learn knowledge about the workforce and how to move forward in gaining a job and also how to start my own business.”

Another, who told NCN Guyana that his name was Joshua Edwards, explained how grateful he was for the initiative. “I feel phenomenal, I’m glad to be here to get the experience and the knowledge.”

A third participant, Amaany Usuff, said “They will know what they need and the requirements for a job and so forth.”

Moreover, the Senior CRMA Officer, Audrey Kellman also added that more of these workshops will be held in other regions across the country.

The Central Recruitment and Manpower Agency focuses on assisting and providing meaningful employment to active job seekers.
