The Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) conference, currently underway at the Marriott Hotel, is drawing attention to companies in the water and infrastructure sector who are presenting their services and products.
With participation from over 500 individuals representing the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe, the conference is featuring a wide array of innovations and services, ranging from metering to treatment plants and systems.
One exhibitor, Kenndey Lord from Seven Seas Water Group, emphasized their ability to rapidly produce safe drinking water for large populations within a short timeframe, addressing community water shortages effectively.
August Lester, an exhibitor from SME USA, highlighted their high-temperature submersible well motor designed for aggressive applications, particularly benefiting farmers who rely on groundwater supplied by organizations like GWI.
Jose Mena, representing Kamstrup, emphasized the importance of education in the process of providing solutions. He noted that educating utilities and societies is crucial for driving positive change in water management.
Dyanand Maharaj, Managing Director of Dylam Company Ltd., underscored the significance of water conservation, emphasizing that water is essential for survival, and companies like Dylam are committed to offering solutions.
The CWWA conference, scheduled from October 23 to 27, 2023, is a platform addressing critical issues such as climate resilience, wastewater management, solid waste management, and financing, all under the theme, “Accelerating Change in the Water, Wastewater, and Solid Waste Sectors.”
