Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, expressed optimism about the rapid development in Region Ten following a recent walk-through of the mining town.
He highlighted that 143 community roads are scheduled for rehabilitation in the region, building on last year’s progress.
Residents along the Berbice River can also expect improvements to all Stellings in the area.
Edghill reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating a transformative legacy in Region Ten, emphasizing that the region is receiving its fair share of investment.
In addition to these initiatives, several significant projects are in progress, including the construction of the Mackenzie to Wismar bridge, the Linden to Mabura Highway, and the Linden to Soesdyke Highway.
