Inaugural Victory Valley Day to Showcase Linden’s Community Spirit

Linden is gearing up for its first Victory Valley Day on Sunday, November 26, as the community comes together to celebrate its skills, talents, and people.

This community initiative aims to foster a sense of togetherness and pride while showcasing the unique offerings of Victory Valley.

The day will kick off with a church service at the Victory Valley Tarmac, followed by a series of fun-filled activities.

Michael Duke, one of the organizers and a resident of Victory Valley, highlighted the goal of promoting community spirit and featuring the community’s products and people.

Duke expressed enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing that it is not exclusive to Victory Valley; he extended an invitation to neighboring communities to participate in the festivities.

The day aims to create a positive atmosphere and break down negative perceptions, showcasing Victory Valley as a welcoming and close-knit neighborhood.

The evening program will include a “mic-up” talent display, providing a platform for the community’s youth to showcase their talents.

Leading up to the event, a cleanup campaign is scheduled for Saturday, November 18, to ensure that Victory Valley is at its best for the celebration.

Victory Valley Day represents an opportunity for residents to come together, celebrate their community, and contribute to building a positive image.

As Linden prepares for this inaugural event, it emphasizes the importance of unity and communal pride.
