The three-day International Business Conference (IBC) provided a platform for companies to showcase their services, form partnerships, and explore opportunities within Guyana and the wider Caribbean market.

From healthcare and energy to logistics and marketing, businesses from Guyana, Suriname, and across the globe gathered for the IBC, which was held at the Mariott Hotel in Kingston. Under the theme “Bridging Business for Regional Prosperity”, the exhibition and networking sessions aimed to promote investment and strengthen regional ties.

Tiffany Roberts, an official from International SOS Guyana, expressed her excitement for what the conference would offer her company.

We’re happy to be here. We’re looking forward to seeing what all of the other companies bring. There are a lot of companies from Suriname, Trinidad. So we’re bridging that gap to see how we can both support each other,” she pointed out

Technology firm Controlled Technologies Guyana Inc. is also expanding its footprint across the region, with a focus on automation and industrial systems.

I found a lot of people here that I would not necessarily found in the energy conference that they have here a lot. And it’s a nice bridge to get into Suriname also,” Executive member Ronald Ramlall explained.

The International Business Conference continues to serve as a bridge for regional cooperation, creating new opportunities for trade, technology, and sustainable growth across Guyana and Suriname.
