Some 250 students from all 10 administrative regions are set to receive specialized training at the newly launched Digital Health Training Institute.

Funded by the Greater Guyana Initiative in partnership with Mt. Sinai, the three-year programme aims to transform Guyana’s healthcare landscape.
According to the Executive Director of Mt. Sinai, Dr. Rachel Vreeman, this Institute will be a centre of excellence for digital health.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony stated that graduates will join the Ministry of Health as permanent staff, ready to manage electronic health records and digital systems nationwide.

The five million US dollar institute blends online and practical training, equipping students with the skills to manage electronic health records and advance digital health systems throughout the country.
