Harpy Eagles Aim to Maintain Momentum in Regional Four-Day Championship

February 4, 2025

The Guyana Harpy Eagles are set to face the Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) in their second match of the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Regional Four-Day Championship at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

Following a commanding 10-wicket victory in their opening match, the team is looking to build on their strong start.

Captain Tevin Imlach, who recently returned from the West Indies’ tour of Pakistan, expressed confidence in the team’s performance so far, highlighting the contributions from both batsmen and bowlers.

With CCC losing their first game, the Harpy Eagles enter the contest as favorites but are focused on maintaining their competitive approach.

Despite their advantage on paper, the team is not underestimating their opponents, recognizing that CCC remains a first-class side capable of challenging any team in the tournament.

On Monday, the Guyana Cricket Board announced a 13-man squad for the upcoming match, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
