Guyanese Showcase Patriotism Amidst Annexation Threats

In the face of potential annexation threats, citizens of Guyana, spanning regions One to Ten, are uniting to express their patriotism and defend the nation’s sovereignty.

Students from Auchlyne Primary School, No. 59 Primary, and No. 2 Nursery, along with numerous other schools, are actively participating in national awareness sessions.

They are using slogans, songs, and various creative expressions to affirm their love for the 83,000 square miles that make up Guyana.

Regional Democratic Councils of Regions 6 and Region 4 Demerara-Mahaica, as well as the Anna Regina, Bartica, and Lethem Town Council, are among the entities emphasizing that the Essequibo region unequivocally belongs to Guyana.

Members of the private sector are also joining this patriotic display by proudly flying the golden arrowhead.

These events are a daily response to the perceived threats from Venezuela.

Citizens are steadfast in using their voices and actions to convey the message that the Essequibo region is an integral part of Guyana.
